Looking For Some
Allergy Relief?
I love the spring season. Flowers blooming,
tree
leaves growing and the smell of fresh cut grass fills the air. That all
sounds great for people that don't have allergies. However, if you do
suffer from allergies, we have some remedies for you.
I thought it would be helpful to find out what our top searched allergy
remedies were on AOL Search. Common OTC and
prescription allergy medicines such as Zyrtec, Claritin and
Sudafed can help treat most of your allergy
symptoms. If these medications don't help your symptoms or medications
are not your type, there are some other alternatives.
Natural allergy treatments such as the neti pot, quercetin and stinging
nettle can be as effective as prescription allergy pills without the
medication. Neti
pot, also know as the nose bidet,
flushes out all the debris clogging your sinuses and helps alleviate
pain. Quercetin
is a natural plant-derived compound (called a bioflavonoid) that helps
suppress histamine production in your body. Stinging
nettle is a weed, sold in capsules, that inhibits the
body's ability to produce histamine.

Surprising Secrets for Sinus Health
Here are some all-natural ways to gain freedom from sinus suffering.
• Clear your sinuses and your mind with a steamy stovetop spa. Add a
few drops of wintergreen oil to a pot of boiling water and inhale the
steam. Take care not to be burned by the vapor.
• Herbs and spices like ginger, scallion, basil, garlic, oregano,
cayenne peppers, white pepper, horseradish and turmeric will have your
sinus passageways unblocked in no time!
• The supplement bromelain - a papaya and pineapple-based enzyme -
helps reduce histamine release, the body's natural allergic response.
• Clear your nasal passageway daily for healthy, happy sinuses. Add 1
tsp of sea salt, 1 drop of oregano oil, and 1 drop of wintergreen to a
cup of warm water. Fill a small-spouted squeeze bottle with this warm
solution. Squirt into one nostril at a time and blow out through the
nose. Alternate nostrils.
• Press one clove of garlic, mix with 1 tsp of olive oil and soak a
clean cotton ball with the oil mixture and place in nostrils after
having washed the nostril with warm salt water. Leave in for 20 minutes
and repeat three times a day until the symptoms clear up.
• These two simple self-massage practices that follow are incredibly
effective for relieving sinus congestion. For both, sit at the tip of a
sturdy chair with your back erect, spine stretched, and your head
tilted slightly forward.
1. Inhale and gently press your forehead just
inside the temples with your palms. Exhale and release. Repeat three
times.
2. Cross your middle and index fingers by
placing the tips of your middle fingers on top of the fingernails on
your index fingers. Rub the sides of your nose 36 times in a circular
motion, warming your fingers first if they're cold.
What you eat affects your sinus health
Avoid the foods that produce mucous and dampness: dairy products, corn
(including corn syrup), and simple sugars .(2 teaspoons
of sugar lowers your immune system by 50%.) Choose whole
grains like quinoa, amaranth and brown rice instead of wheat, rye and
barley, which are typically high allergy grains. Opt for papaya,
cranberries, pear, pineapple, cherries, mango, and citrus fruits. Eat
more green vegetables such as artichoke, Brussels sprouts, broccoli,
kale, cauliflower, and spinach.
Both alcohol and smoking should be avoided during a sinus flare-up as
they irritate the respiratory tract and worsen nasal inflammation.
Also, sinus congestion is often worse with lack of quality rest so be
sure to get plenty of sleep and keep your stress level low.

Have
you heard of the nightmare condition called Morgellon's
Disease
caused by Genetically Modified foods
MRSA, the
mutant staph infection. They don’t have anything to give
you
except to bombard you with really heavy antibiotics (it is antibiotic
resistant) and hope for the best. This woman's urine was
cultured
daily andshe has lab results showing on Jan. 22 she had a full blown
infection. The doctor informed her at 5:30 that evening of the
infection
and she immediately began a routine of taking a Colloidal
Silver
product. This product was capable
of killing MRSA, SARS and many other dangerous microorganism type
infections considered to be plagues of our time. She took 1 tsp.
every few
hours and used some Colostrum
and Olive
Leaf for extra support. (Super
Colostrum)
The next morning her urine was cultured again. In just 12 hours,
the test results showed the infection was totally clear!!!
Colloidal
silver has many other
applications for illness including external uses for cuts, burns, eye
and ear infections, acne, douching, as well as spraying on sore
throats, in nostrils for sinus infections and much more. It is
really
versatile.
Other things that I would consider would be Hanna Kroeger's Staph
or Strep-Staff

Food
for
Thought
-
A New approach.

A sliced Carrot
looks like the human eye The pupil, iris and radiating lines look
just like the human eye...and YES science now shows that carrots
greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four
chambers and is red The heart is red and has four chambers. All
of the research shows tomatoes are
indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of
the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the
research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and
blood vitalizing food.

A
Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere,
upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds
are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts
help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney
Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes,
they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery,
Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods
specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these
foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your
diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These
foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Eggplant, Avocado's and Pears target the
health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they
look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a
woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted
birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is
this? .... It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from
blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic
chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods
(modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs
are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase
the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of sperm as
well as help overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and
actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives
assist the health and function of the ovaries

Grapefruits, Oranges, and most Citrus fruits look just like the
mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the
breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like body
cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste
materials from all of the body cells They even produce tears
which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes
Sometimes it takes science quite a while to learn what God knew
from the beginning.

Aromatherapy
is the use of
pure essential oils to enhance physical or mental well being through
diffusing or application on the skin when diluted with carrier oils. By
these methods essential oils are then absorbed through the skin or by
inhalation and our sense of smell. Smell has an effect on our
perceptions and how we react physically, emotionally and mentally to
our surroundings. Various every day scents remind us of the seasons of
the year, our location or situation, potential dangers or happy
occasions. Essential oils are distilled plant essences that may be used
to make ourselves feel better. Essential oils may effect the
physical, mental and emotional aspect of our lives. Inhalation of
essential oils may also effect the release of brain chemicals such as
seratonin. Other essential oils have healing qualities when applied
topically. Link

Tree Essential oils.
As I look around me in nature, I am surrounded by Trees,
flowers, herbs, grasses and spices. The trees are strong and some have
been here for a very long time, so it would make sense that their oils
would be strong, high in antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral
constituents. My girls and I love putting one drop of Tea Tree on are
toothbrush along with the paste at night and in the morning our mouths
feel so much fresher. I t helps to fight our gum disease as well. We
have also used it in fighting colds and flu along with Eucalyptus.
Tree oils are high in antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral constituents so
are ideal for fungal, viral and infection related conditions. Like
athlete’s foot, candida, ringworm, etc. to respiratory infections such
as the common cold, influenza and pneumonia. They are excellent in
treating any infection involving other systems of the body e.g.
cystitis or nephritis (the urinary system); meningitis or the nervous
system; colitis or pancreatitis (the digestive system). They are good
at getting stagnant things moving i.e. constipation, hemorrhoids,
varicose veins, mucolytic. Good for chronic and acute allergy related
conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis, hayfever, eczema,
psoriasis, dermatitis, etc. They are mild pain relievers and blend well

In
some European Countries they use Peroxide instead of Chlorine in
processing their drinking water - It's s lot healthier.
Hydrogen
Peroxide vs. Bleach
This was written by Becky Ransey of Indiana (a
doctor's wife), and I want to share it with you. She was over recently
at a friend's home for coffee and smelled the bleach I was using to
clean my toilet and counter tops. This is what she said:
I would like to tell you of the benefits of that plain little ole
bottle of 3% Hydrogen peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug
store. What does bleach cost? <>
My husband has been in the medical field for over 36 years, and
most doctors don't tell you about peroxide. Have you ever smelled
bleach in a doctor's office? NO!!!
Why? Because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask
the nurses who work in the doctor's offices, and ask them if they use
bleach at home. They are wiser and know better!
Did you also know bleach was invented in the late 40's? It's
chlorine, folks! And it was used to kill our troops. Peroxide was
invented during WWI in the 20's. It was used to save and help
cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals. Please think about
this:
1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle)
and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it
when I bathe.) No more
canker sores, and your teeth will be whiter withoutexpensive pastes.
Use it instead of mouthwash. e.g. Arm
& Hammer baking soda & PEROXIDE. (my
input - you need to rinse your mouth with plain water after using or
the peroxide will keep reacting)
2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of
germs.
3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and
leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you
wipe, or spray it on the counters.
4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on
it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.
5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of
peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let
dry.
6. Soak any infections or cuts in 3% peroxide for five to ten minutes
several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal
with any medicine but was
healed by soaking in peroxide.
7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water and
keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without harming your septic
system like bleach or most
other disinfectants will.
8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture
whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus. It will bubble and help
to kill the bacteria. Hold for
a few minutes, and then blow your nose into a tissue.
9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist
right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for
ten minutes several times a day. The pain will
lessen greatly.
(my
input
-
you need to rinse your mouth with plain water after a
treatment or the peroxide will keep reacting.)
10.
And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50
solution on your wet hair after a shower
and comb it through. You will not have the
peroxide-burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages but more natural
highlights if your hair is a light brown, faddish, or dirty
blonde. It also lightens gradually, so it's not a drastic change.
11. Put half a bottle of peroxide in your bath to help rid boils,
fungus, or other skin infections.
12. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of
whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing,
pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub
it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.
13. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which is
why I love it so much for this.
I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should
be without! With prices of most necessities rising, I'm glad
there's a way to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner!
" This information really woke me up. I hope you gain
something from it, too.
Pass it on!
I
have been using this in my ears for a few years now. If you feel a cold
or flu coming on use a dropper and put some in your ears and let
it fizz
for awhile. It sure works for me! (unknown)
