Inflammation - can be at the root of so many debilitating diseases
like - Rheumatoid Arthritis which can be deadly
Pain is inflammation in the body
#1 and most important - Cut all white sugar and chocolate out of diet and feel the pain start going away after about 3 to 5 days.
Of the Omega Oils Krill is a better choice taken internally for lubricating the joints and fighting inflammation, however, any of the fish oils will help.
Drink 1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar & 1 tbsp. honey in glass of  water 3 times a day with meals (also helps digestion/indigestion)
Potent antioxidant Astaxanthin shows promise as anti-inflammatory for arthritis, joint pain, back pain, muscle soreness and carpal tunnel syndrome - Scientific testing has shown that Astaxanthin is 550 times stronger that Vitamin E as an anti-inflammatory and it crosses the blood-brain barrier and delivers these health benefits to the central nervous system.
Findings reveal that low vitamin D levels effect inflammation and immune response, even in healthy women. Even small amounts of vitamin D, about 500 IU, lowered inflammation by more than 25 percent in a small group of critically ill patients.
According to Dr. Mark Stengler the pain of osteoarthritis can be alleviated within days with Sulphur. The main components of garlic oil are sulfur compounds. It has 33 sulfur compounds.  If you take it at night and then use parsley or chlorophyll there should be little if any odor the next day.  Fresh is always best, however you can buy odorless garlic.  Link to garlic and then scroll down to choose your preference.
Niacinamide -this anti-inflammatory nutrient (a derivative of niacin - also known as vitamin B3) relieved arthritis pain by almost 30 percent and improved range of motion and flexibility in joints.
Moderate exercise

Can Gum Disease be linked to heart disease?

Researchers have found that people with gum disease are almost twice as likely to suffer from coronary artery disease.
Evidence is mounting - a new risk factor – periodontal disease.
For more information Read here >>>

According to the American Academy of Periodontology, people with periodontal disease are almost twice as likely to have heart disease. And one study found that the presence of common problems in the mouth, including gum disease - gingivitis, cavities, and missing teeth, were as good at predicting heart disease as cholesterol levels.

Several theories exist to explain the link between periodontal disease and heart disease. Oral bacteria can affect the heart when they enter the blood stream, attaching to fatty plaques in the heart blood vessels and contributing to clot formation.

Mouth Body Connections
of Gum Disease
People with severe gum disease often experience bleeding gums, and nicks and cuts in the gums can provide a way for bacteria to enter the bloodstream. If the bacteria is not attacked by the immune system in time, it can reach the heart and may cause  inflammation of the inside lining of the heart chambers and heart valves or damage other organs.
Data suggests that women whose periodontal condition worsens during pregnancy have an even higher risk of having a premature baby. For some early on in pregnancy - miscarrages or not being able to get pregnant at all.
Additional studies have pointed to a relationship between periodontal disease and stroke. In one study that looked at the causal relationship of oral infection as a risk factor for stroke.
Oral bacteria appear to secrete sticky proteins which can allow them to adhere to the walls of the arteries, rather than being swept away by the flow of blood. As the bacteria accumulate, they contribute to the narrowing of the arteries which is linked with cardiovascular disease. Bacteria can also promote the formation of blood clots which could severely damage the heart.
Inflammation caused by periodontal disease increases plaque build up, which may contribute to swelling of the arteries.
Lung Infections from bacteria can be acquired through inhaling the fine droplets from the mouth and throat into the lungs. These droplets contain germs that can breed and multiply within the lungs to cause damage, respiratory diseases such as pneumonia etc.  This bacteria from the mouth can cause infections or worsen existing lung conditions.
Research has shown, that there is an association between periodontal diseases and other chronic inflammatory conditions, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer’s disease.

The Mature Herb Gardens of Summer; Parsley

The Basic Premise of Homeopathy

You're stressed more often than not
You don't feel good when you're stressed-out—be it from work projects piling up, a miserable commute, issues with the kids, etc.—and there's good biological proof why you shouldn't let stress get the best of you.
Stress increases the concentration of the hormones cortisol and norepinephrine  in the bloodstream, kicking up blood pressure and suppressing immunity, it also  adds to the aging process.
Over time, stress that doesn't go away can
  • delay healing,
  • harden your arteries,
  • shrink areas of your brain involved in learning,
  • memory,
  • mood—talk about feeling older!
  • weight gain
Heres how you can manage everyday blips - keep hormones on a more even and healthy keel.

Herb Essential Oils work on the mind and induce deep relaxation. Uplifting and stimulating. They are excellent for stress related to mental and emotional trauma. Oils such as Marjoram, Melissa and Clary Sage are deeply sedating and act as a nerve tonic.

Even after you pick your crops, enzymes continue to break down the nutrients, convert sugars to starches, and generally degrade flavor and texture. Blanching with steam or boiling water stops this action and preserves fresh-picked color. Tests have shown that, after nine months, vegetables that were blanched before freezing retain up to 1,300 percent more vitamin C and other nutrients than vegetables frozen without blanching.
Water blanching tends to leach out water-soluble vitamins. Soaking vegetables to clean them can also literally wash away nutrients; better to rinse and brush them quickly under cold running water. Water blanching is more effective at getting rid of yeasts, molds, and bacteria if they are present and for removing cabbageworms from cauliflower and broccoli. With either method, timing is key. Under-blanching can actually encourage quality-zapping enzymes.
Steam Blanching
  • Clean and chop vegetables as if using them right away.
  • Add 1 to 2 inches of water to a pot and bring to a boil. Using a basket or loose cheesecloth, suspend a layer of the prepared vegetables just over the boiling water, and cover.
  • When steam begins to escape, start timing. Halfway through the blanching process, check to make sure the vegetables are not clumping together and that they are cooking evenly.
  • Remove, cool, dry, and pack.
  • Water Blanching
  • Weigh prepared vegetables to make 1-pound portions.
  • Boil 1 gallon of water in a large kettle.
  • Place vegetables in a mesh or blanching basket and set in the boiling water. Start timing when water returns to boil.
  • Remove, cool, dry, and pack.
  • The quicker you cool vegetables after blanching, the more color, texture, and flavor you will retain. Cool them for about the same amount of time they were blanched (twice as long for corn on the cob). Use the ice bath method  or place vegetable pieces in a container and set that container in a larger container filled with ice water. To prevent ice buildup on the vegetables once they're in the freezer, dry them before packing. Spread paper towels over cloth towels and place the blanched vegetables on top. A table fan will help speed drying.

Here are blanching times for some vegetables. The times listed are for blanching in boiling water. I keep a similar list slipped inside my cupboard for a handy reference.

    • Green Beans, 3 minutes
    • Broccoli, chopped or stalks, 3 minutes
    • Beets, small, 25-30 minutes; medium, 45-50 minutes
    • Brussels Sprouts, small, 3 minutes; medium, 4 minutes; large, 5 minutes
    • Carrots, tiny, whole, 5 minutes; diced or strips, 2 minutes
    • Cauliflower, 3 minutes
    • Corn on the cob to freeze on the ear, small ears, 7 minutes; medium ears 9 minutes; large ears 11 minutes
    • Corn on the cob to cut for whole kernel corn, 4 minutes-cool and cut from ear.
    • Corn on the cob to cut for cream style corn, 4 minutes-cool and cut from ear, scraping the cobs.
    • Greens like spinach, 2 minutes
    • Shelled Peas, 1½ minutes
    • Snow or Sugar Snap Peas, 2-3 minutes
    • Summer Squash like zucchini, slices or chunks, 3 minutes; grated, 1-2 minutes.

Using Essential Oils to help Open the Chakras in your body
Typical Symptoms from blocked Chakras -
We are excited to introduce our new blends in
    Chakra Essential Oil Set

    Chakra Point & Color
Symptom of Blocked Chakra Emotion and some physical manifestations
    Red - Root
Fear - weight problems, hemorrhoids, degenerative arthritis, knee troubles, sciatica - Our actions would revolve around selfishly satisfying our personal needs, hoarding compulsively so we would never be without. We would feel threatened, angry and victimized, which ultimately would take a toll on our health leading to lethargy and depression, illness and disease.
Using Red Bottle put a few drops in hands rub together and breath deeply
Essential oils support the root chakra by aligning us with our connection to our physical bodies and to the earth’s body.  They also help the base chakra to spin correctly, creating energy and life force as a foundation for the rest of our chakras to utilize. You may experience enriched emotions, increased sensitivity, be more emphatic and better able to control your emotions. Essential Oils; frankincense, clary sage, geranium, rose, melissa, vetiver, patchouli, and ylang ylang. These oils help reverse a sense of isolation.
    Orange -Sacral
Guilt - dysfunctional second chakra can often become money hungry, using wealth and the power it has over people to dispassionately control and dominate them. - Physical complaints such as prostate problems, PMS, fibroids, menstrual problems and lack of sexual drive can occur when the second chakra is imbalanced. Lower backache, sacroiliac problems, sciatica, and bowel dysfunction can also be attributed to a challenged sacral chakra.
Using the blend in the Orange Bottle breath deeply We can cascade positive energy in this area, flushing away the negative and allowing passion and compassion to be generated. Essential oils can encourage us to emit the higher frequencies of emotions and by opening to the positive realms of emotions, like love, joy, harmony, trust, we can bring a more fulfilling vortex of energy to the sacral chakra and radiate these positive aspects out to others. Essential Oils: Bay,  Bergamot, Clary Sage, Jasmine, Orange, Neroli, Patchouli, RosemarySandalwood.
    Yellow - Solar Plexus
Shame - ulcers, diabetes, hypoglycemia, digestive disorders - We become fearful and loose the ability to assert our true selves, sliding deeper into gloom, discouragement, and despair. We become unsure of our intuitive knowing and begin depending on others to create our reality. We give up our personal power, forfeit our self-respect and abandon our self-esteem.
Using the blend in the yellow bottle inhale deeply
We learn on a gut level, which is why the solar plexus is considered one of our seats of wisdom. The solar plexus shines the light of self-knowing on the self-creation of the sacral chakra. Essential oils can connect us to our spiritual path and to our higher wisdom. Helichrysum, Fennel, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit, Juniper, Neroli, Peppermint, Petitgrain, Roman Chamomile, Spikenard Tea Tree.
    Green - Heart
Sorrow -we can often feel jealous, petulant, indifferent and lonely - asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, lung disease - we become needy, grabbing at others energies, demanding attention and asking others for love instead of looking within for self-love. Fear, despair, hate, longing, dispassion, condemnation, “heartlessness” and envy are all negative expressions of a dysfunctional heart chakra. We become incapable of accepting other’s love, unable to receive, and therefore more unwilling to give. Life becomes guarded and love becomes greedy. We pretend we don’t need other people and that we can cope alone, when actually inside we are desperate to feel wanted and accepted.
Using the blend in the green bottle inhale deeply It is the balance point of the higher self to how we manifest here in the mundane world. The heart’s voice is one of the voices of our Soul and when we are still, and listen intently, we can hear our true heart’s desire. The fourth chakra gives us skills to intimately love, to reach out and touch others, and to invite Spirit’s love to flow through us.
Breathing the essential oils from the green heart bottle will help us find balance. Also consider the following: Allspice, Bergamot, Spruce, Cajeput, LemonNeroli, Palmarosa, Roman chamomile, Rose.
    Blue - Throat
Lies - sore throat, stiff neck, hearing problems, thyroid problems, colds
Using the blend in the blue bottle inhale deeply With a balanced chakra, we can communicate without fear of being judged by others and we also can speak without a voice of judgment. - In this chakra we are able to hear our own inner voice; the voice of wisdom, of compassion, of knowledge. We also can hear the Divine voice, the higher source of wisdom and truth that the upper chakras connect us to. Essential oils help us to feel more secure about ourselves, as well as more self-love, self-confidence and self-actualization. There are also oils that work physiologically on the affected throat area to open the vocal cords and reduce inflammation in the throat tissue. Allspice, Bay, Spruce, Cedarwood, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Geranium, Ginger, Jasmine, Juniper berry, Myrrh, Petitgrain, Roman chamomile, Rosemary, Spearmint, Ylang Ylang.
    Indigo - Third Eye
It is primarily linked to the pituitary gland and is associated with the face, eyes, ears, nose, parts of the brain and the central nervous system. Illusion - blindness, eyestrain, blurred vision, headaches, nightmares. -
Using the blend in the indigo bottle inhale deeply Each oil, on its own, will radiate a specific vibration, but when two or more are mixed, a new higher frequency will ensue, as if each oil raises the resonance of the other oil, lifting the blend to a whole new realm. It’s fun to play with blending oils for meditation, because each different blend will stimulate the limbic system and the pituitary gland in a different way, creating a very unique meditation each time. Bay, Galbanum Chamomile Grapefruit Myrrh Nutmeg Petitgrain Roman chamomile, Sandalwood.
     White - Crown
Attachment - inability to learn, confusion, apathy, alienation, depression, boredom
Using the blend in the violet or white bottle inhale deeply The consciousness is quiet, the Being is still and calm and we are open to receive.
Essential oils that aid in meditation and that quiet the mind are always the high frequency oils such as frankincense, sandalwood, jasmine, rose, elemi, neroli, patchouli, myrrh, ylang ylang, galbanum and vetiver - We can never fully open the seventh chakra unless we release the fears, guilts and the sense of unworthiness that initiate the prayers. Oils that assist in the release of negative thoughts and emotions are clary sage, cypress, juniper, cedarwood, bergamot, chamomile, geranium, pine and melissa. Often before meditation it is customary to cleanse oneself and the area. Anise Seed Basil Elemi Frankincense Galbanum Myrtle Sandalwood Spikenard
