effective treatment against psoriasis and
eczema. Aloe contains enzymes that relieve
pain, and as a mild anesthetic, it relieves

will help burns from scarring. Aloe Vera is an
astringent and emollient; it is antifungal,
antiviral and antibacterial.

Root, Angelica
is a good remedy for colds, coughs,
pleurisy, wind, colic, rheumatism and
diseases of the urinary organs, though it
should not be given to patients who have a
tendency towards diabetes, as it causes an
increase of sugar in the urine. It is
generally used as a stimulating expectorant,
combined with other expectorants the action
of which is facilitated, and to a large
extent diffused, through the whole of the
pulmonary region. Angelica stems are
also grateful to a feeble stomach, and will
relieve flatulence promptly when chewed. An
infusion of Angelica leaves is a
very healthful, strengthening tonic and
aromatic stimulant, the beneficial effect of
which is felt after a few days' use.
Apple pectin

Apple Pectin is a general intestinal regulator
that is used in many medicinal preparations,
and is said to be an especially effective
anti-diarrheal agent. It has an important
function in the intestinal tract, having a
scavenger effect in intestinal digestion by

gel-forming effect when mixed with water that

Black Cherry
Black Cherry juice has been used
historically to help reduce the build up of
uric acid crystals in joints. Black
Cherry Juice greatly relieves the pain of
gout, bursitis and arthritis.
*Black Cohosh
Root, Clinical results show improvement in
hot flashes, sweating, headache, vertigo,
heart palpitations, tinnitus (a ringing or
similar sensation in the ears), nervousness,
irritability, sleep disturbance, anxiety,
vaginal dryness, and depression. In a 1995
German trial, it was found that when
combined with St. John’s Wort, Black Cohosh
was 78 percent effective in treating hot
flashes and other menopausal symptoms. As a
treatment for menopause, medical studies
reported Black Cohosh to be more effective
than estrogen in relieving symptoms and in
normalizing the appearance of vaginal cells
under microscopic evaluation.

BurdockRoot. Burdock purifies the

and water retention. It has also bee used in
cases of toxic shock syndrome. This herb
also stimulates the immune system and
relieves gout symptoms. The leaves are
bitter and help stimulate digestion and
relieve flatulence. Burdock helps reduce a
fever accompanied by infections, but works
best when taken at the onset of symptoms.
The seeds are used to treat sore throat,
tonsillitis, colds, and coughs. Burdock has
been used to lower blood pressure in
diabetics, though there is no scientific
evidence to support those claims. The root
stimulates the uterus serving to help
